AOL 9.x
- From the AOL toolbar, click 'Settings'.
- From the 'Settings: Essentials' dialog box, click 'Internet [Web] Options'.
- From the 'Internet Options' dialog box, on the 'Security' tab, click 'Custom Level'.
- In the 'Security Settings' section, scroll down to the 'Scripting' section, and under 'Active scripting', select 'Enable'.
- Click 'OK' to close the 'Security Settings' window.
- Click 'OK' to save all changes.
- From the 'Settings: Essentials' dialog box, click Close.
AOL 7.x, 8.x
- From the menu bar, select 'My AOL' then 'Preferences'.
- Click on the 'WWW' icon.
- From the 'Security' tab, click 'Internet', and then click 'Custom Level'.
- In the 'Security Settings' section, scroll down to the 'Scripting' section, and under 'Active scripting', select 'Enable'.
- Click 'OK' to close the 'Security Settings' window.
- Click 'OK' to save all changes.
- You will need to close and re-open all of your browser windows for the changes to take effect.
Firefox 2.x
- On the 'Tools' menu, click 'Options'.
- Click on the 'Content' icon.
- Check the box next to 'Enable JavaScript'.
- Click 'OK'.
Firefox 1.x
- On the 'Tools' menu, click 'Options'.
- Click 'Web Features' in the 'Options' list
- Under the 'Web Features' section, check the box next to 'Enable JavaScript'.
- Click the 'Advanced' button to open the 'Advanced JavaScript Options' box.
- Check the boxes under 'Allow scripts to:' section that you want to allow.
- Click 'OK'.
- Click 'OK'.
Internet Explorer (IE) Version 5.x, 6.x, 7.x
- Go to 'Tools' at the top of the browser.
- Select 'Internet Options'.
- Click on the 'Security' tab at the top of the 'Internet Options' window
- From the list of zones at the top of the 'Security' panel, select the 'Internet' icon.
- Click the 'Custom Level...' button near the bottom.
- In the new window that pops up, scroll down to the 'Active Scripting' item.
- Select the 'Enable' option.
- Click the 'OK' button at the bottom of the 'Security Settings' window.
- Click on the 'OK' button at the bottom of the 'Internet Options' window.
Internet Explorer (IE) Version 4.x
- Click 'View' at the top of the browser.
- Select 'Internet Options'.
- Click the 'Security' tab at the top of the 'Internet Options' window that pops up.
- From the list of zones at the top of the 'Security' panel, select the 'Internet' icon.
- Select the 'Custom' button near the bottom and click the 'Settings' button.
- In the new window that pops up, scroll down to the 'Active Scripting' item.
- Select the 'Enable' option.
- Click the 'OK' button at the bottom of the 'Internet Options' window.
Mozilla Browsers (all versions)
- Click 'Edit' at the top of the browser.
- Choose 'Preferences' at the bottom of the list.
- Open the 'Scripts & Plugins' menu on left hand side of box.
- Check 'Enable JavaScript for Navigator' on right hand side of box.
- Click 'OK'.
Netscape Navigator 7.x
- Click 'Edit' at the top of the browser.
- Choose 'Preferences' at the bottom of list.
- Click the arrow next to 'Advanced'.
- Click 'Scripts & Pugins' under 'Advanced'.
- Check 'Enable JavaScript for Navigator' on the right hand side of box.
- Click 'OK'.
Netscape Navigator 6.x
- Click 'Edit' at the top of the browser.
- Choose 'Preferences' at the bottom of list.
- Click 'Advanced' on the left hand side of box.
- Check 'Enable JavaScript for Navigator' on the right hand side of box.
- Click 'OK'.
Netscape Navigator 4.x
- Click 'Edit' at the top of the browser.
- Choose 'Preferences' on bottom of list.
- Click 'Advanced' on the left hand side of box.
- Check 'Enable JavaScript for Navigator' on the right hand side of box.
- Click 'OK'.
Opera 6.x
- Click 'File' at the top of the browser.
- Choose 'Preferences' on bottom of list.
- Click 'Plugins' on the left hand side of box.
- Check 'Enable JavaScript' on the right hand side of box.
- Click 'OK'.
Opera 5.x
- Click 'Edit' at the top of the browser.
- Choose 'Preferences' on bottom of list.
- Click 'Advanced' on the left hand side of box.
- Check 'Enable JavaScript for Navigator' on the right hand side of box.
